The Role

Reporting directly to the Executive Chairman and the Director for Partnerships and Business Development, the Intern’s role will be to map, evaluate the different technologies under development and already on the market which are critical for the development of H55. The goal is to have a better understanding of markets dynamics. The trainee will also undertake market research, analysis, benchmarking as to be able to assist H55’s senior management in their commercialization and roll-out activities. The intern will have a unique chance to work with skilled engineers and business managers that have participated to the Solar Impulse project.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Research in areas such as aviation, aerospace, future aviation concepts such as VTOLs and urban mobility

  • Technical research about battery technologies, battery charging and energy storage

  • Market intelligence gathering and tracking

  • Competitive analysis

  • Supplier technology and sourcing and evaluation

  • Preparation and redaction of documents for grant requests

  • Participation to strategy and business development meetings with the Executive Chairman and the Director for Partnerships and Business Development

  • Assistance in the process of H55’s fundraising

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree or higher (candidates of exceptional level finishing bachelor’s degree will also be considered)

  • Interest in emerging and disruptive technologies: aviation, transportation and/or urban mobility

  • Educational background: engineering, technology management, entrepreneurship, and/or energy and clean tech

  • Demonstrate ability to follow through and bring projects to its completion

  • Target-oriented, with analytic problem-solving capabilities

  • Well organized including ability to properly document

  • Capacity to prioritize, manage time effectively and multi-task

  • Fluency in English language essential, French an asset
