Your Role

Working with the Business Development team, the Intern’s role will be to assist the development of business proposal. The trainee will also undertake market research, analysis, benchmarking as to be able to assist H55’s business development team in their commercialization and roll-out activities. Additionally, the intern will support H55 communication and marketing  The intern will have a unique chance to work with skilled engineers and business managers that are leading the next aviation revolution.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Research in areas such as aviation, aerospace, future aviation concepts such as VTOLs and urban mobility
  • Market intelligence gathering and tracking
  • Competitive analysis
  • Supplier technology, sourcing and evaluation
  • Assistance in H55 business development activities
  • Preparation and redaction of documents for grant requests
  • Preparation and redaction of technology proposal
  • Participation in strategy and business development meetings
  • Assistance in the process of H55’s fundraising
  • Assistance in H55 administrative tasks

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree or higher (candidates of exceptional level finishing bachelor’s degree will also be considered)
  • Interest in emerging and disruptive technologies: aviation, transportation and/or urban mobility
  • Educational background: engineering, technology management, entrepreneurship, business and/or energy and cleantech
  • Experience in marketing and communication an asset
  • Demonstrate ability to follow through and bring projects to its completion
  • Target-oriented, with analytic problem-solving capabilities
  • Well organized including ability to properly document and work independently
  • Capacity to prioritize, manage time effectively and multi-task
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, in particular Excel and power point
  • Fluency in the English language essential, French an asset
